Youth dies as truck hits bike in Begusarai
Begusarai: A 21-year-old youth died after a truck hit his motorcycle on the Rosera–Begusarai (SH-55) road near Bharkaha Chowk under Cheria Bariyarpur police station area in Begusarai district on Sunday.According to police, the deceased was identified as Adarsh Kumar, a resident of Narhan village under Bibhutipur police station in Samastipur district. A speeding truck rammed into the rear of his bike, killing him on the spot. However, the truck driver fled with the vehicle after the accident.

Adarsh’s maternal grandfather, Rajkumar Mishra, said he was an undergraduate student of Narhan College in Samastipur. “Sunday being a holiday, Adarsh was coming to meet us in Maheshwara village under Naokothi police station. But destiny took him away midway,” he said.He added that when Adarsh did not arrive despite leaving home early in the morning, he called him, but local police answered the phone and informed him about the accident. Adarsh was the only son of his parents.
